Five-time Olympic cross-country ski champion Johannes Klebo refused to sign a contract with the Norwegian Ski Federation, reports VG.
This became known thanks to a letter from the athletes’ lawyer Paul Kleven sent to the management of the organization.
“On behalf of the ski athletes and Johannes Klebo, I inform you that these athletes will not sign any agreement with the national team,” said Klebo’s representative.
He was joined by skiers Alexander Omodt Kilde and Lukas Broten.
Johannes Klebo is a five-time Olympic champion, nine-time world champion, three-time Tour de Ski stage race winner and four-time World Cup winner.
