Stepushkin, two-time Bobsleigh World Cup winner, dies at 46

Multiple World Championship winner, two-time Bobsleigh World Cup winner Dmitry Stepushkin died at the age of 47, according to the website of the Russian Bobsled Federation (FBI).

– Dmitry is a Russian bobsleigh legend, one of the best overclockers in history. It is impossible to believe that he is no longer with us. Stepushkin agreed to enter the headquarters of FBI President Anatoly Pegov. There were a lot of ideas and projects ahead of us that we will try to implement without him.

The Bobsleigh Federation expresses its sincere condolences to Dmitry’s wife, family and friends and is taking care of the funeral arrangements. The ceremony will take place on Saturday in Voronezh.

Stepushkin is a European champion, participating in the Winter Olympics.
