According to TASS, Anatoly Pegov has become the new head of the FBI. Previously, he was vice-president of this organization. Pegov was elected to the new post unanimously.
Another candidate, Albert Demchenko, refused to take part in the conference, referring to the decision of the Presidium of the Russian Bobsleigh Federation to postpone the elections until August 19.
Elena Anikina, who has led the organization since March 2019, did not participate in the elections.
