The entire sports community mourns the death of the former skier and biathlete Anfisa Reztsova the president of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR) told . Elena Vyalbe .
Reztsova, a three-time Olympic champion in biathlon and cross-country skiing, has died at the age of 58.
“I’m really sorry, we’re all grieving,” Vyalbe told .
Reztsova won gold and silver in cross-country skiing at the 1988 Olympics and also won three world championships. In biathlon, the athlete won gold at the 1992 (sprint) and 1994 (relay) Games, and also became a silver medalist at the world championships.
