Double Olympic champion Svetlana Ichmouratova regretted that there are now few athletes such as Anfisa Reztsova and noted that the ex-athlete never seemed to worry about defeats.

Reztsova, a three-time Olympic champion, died on October 19 at the age of 58. The farewell ceremony takes place on Tuesday in the large ritual hall of the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow.

Anfisa Reztsova won gold and silver in cross-country skiing at the 1988 Olympics and also won three world championships. In biathlon, the athlete won gold at the 1992 (sprint) and 1994 (relay) Games, and also became a silver medalist at the world championships.
