“Today, our country is not the only one in mourning. Forgive me for everything, Anfisa” – Vyalbe at Reztsova’s farewell ceremony

President of the Russian Ski Racing Federation Elena Vyalbe said that regarding the death of the three-time Olympic champion Anfisa Reztsova people cry not only in Russia.

Reztsova’s farewell ceremony takes place on Tuesday in the large ritual hall of the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow.

“I don’t know what to say, especially when such young people die. » We didn’t talk that often on the phone, we didn’t see each other that often lately, but Anfisa was always with a smile, always without fear and with the boldness that can be learned. Today, not only is our country in mourning, but I know that many people from different countries are in mourning. You have wonderful daughters… a person is alive as long as he or she is alive in our memory. I hope that in our memory you will always remain cheerful. Kingdom of heaven, forgive me for everything, ”reports the correspondent in Vyalba.

The famous biathlete and skier will be buried in Athletes’ Alley. Reztsova died on October 19 at the age of 58.
