Three-time Olympic champion Anfisa Reztsova on Tuesday, October 24, she was buried at the Troekurovskoye cemetery in Moscow.

The famous biathlete and skier is buried in the athletes’ alley. USSR football champions Spartak Moscow Fedor Cherenkov and Vasily Kulkov, as well as two-time Olympic hockey champion Vladimir Shadrin are buried in the same area.

Reztsova died on October 19 at the age of 58.

Anfisa Reztsova won gold and silver in cross-country skiing at the 1988 Olympics and also won three world championships. In biathlon, the athlete won gold at the 1992 (sprint) and 1994 (relay) Games, and also became a silver medalist at the world championships.
