Olympic medalist Daniel Aldoshkine won the distance of 1,500 meters at the first stage of the Russian Speed Skating Cup, which ended in Kolomna.
Aldoshkin ran the “one and a half” in 1 minute 47.19 seconds. Sergei Trofimov finished second (1:47.43), followed by Stepan Chistyakov (1:47.51).
She won the women’s 1,500m Elena Eranina — 1.59.29. Second was Ekaterina Kosheleva (1:59.37), third was Daria Kachanova (2:00.09).
Trofimov won the mass start, Ruslan Zakharov was second and Danila Semerikov third. The women’s mass start was won by Elizaveta Agafoshina, Ekaterina Aldoshkina was second and Alexandra Satina third.
