Double Olympic medalist Alexander Loginov told that he stops getting pleasure from running when he has to start enduring.
On Saturday, Loginov took 13th place in the mass start of the first PARI Cup of the International Club Biathlon League (MLCB). In September, the biathlete told that before the start of the season he could have ended his career due to health problems.
– Naturally, I’m not ready. I’m happy to have managed to train normally, more or less, on the lines. I won’t say it’s a worthy result for me, but it’s according to my preparedness. I don’t have my head in the clouds to compete and beat younger athletes. I understand completely: to be very efficient, you had to train without jumping. I haven’t trained in six months. We must now make up for lost time and help popularize our sport.
— What thoughts did you have when you were directing?
– Let someone move forward and sit behind the strongest.
— Do you like it when you go far away?
— For the moment (laughs).
– Until when?
– When you had to endure it. Until the last lap today everything was going well, but then it was tough. But I understood perfectly well that this would happen, ”Loginov told .
Right now, on the channel, watch the live broadcast of the women’s mass start as part of the PARI MLKB.
