Nasyko won the control sprint at the training camp in Finland

The race took place in Kontiolahti

Denis Nasyko became the triumphant of the control sprint V Finnish Kontiolahti.

Teams from three countries – Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Finland – took part in the sprint. 45 biathletes were entered for the sprint in Kontiolahta, 43 took the start. Six athletes completed the race without failures, including Nasyko.

Artem Tishchenko (6th position) and Bogdan Tsymbal (9th place) finished in the top 10 among Ukrainians. Artem Prima took 13th place, and Anton Dudchenko took 21st.

The 2023/24 Biathlon World Cup starts in Ostersund, Sweden on November 25. By the end of this year, stages will also take place in Hochfilzen and Lenzerheide, Switzerland.

Leading Ukrainian biathlete Yulia Dzhima will most likely not take part in the first stage of the World Cup in Ostersund. Jim will be preparing for the second stage in Hochfilzen, Austria, which starts on December 8. Most likely, Dmitry Pidruchny, who is recovering from a broken arm, will also be ready for this stage.
