Russian Anastasia Goreeva won the mass start at the first PARI Cup of the International Club Biathlon League (MLCB), which takes place in Khanty-Mansiysk.
Goreeva, having made two mistakes on four shooting ranges, covered the distance of 12.5 km in 34 minutes 14.4 seconds. Belarusian Anna Sola finished second (+5.4 seconds; 3 penalties). Elizaveta Kaplina closed the top three (+14.3; 2).
The first MLKB Cup will take place on November 18 and 19. Russian and Belarusian biathletes take part in the races. The winner of each of the four races receives one million rubles.
Pursuit races will take place on Sunday as part of the MLCB, watch live broadcasts at 9:05 and 11:20 on the channel.
