Yulia Jima will start the season with the second stage in Hochfilzen, Elena Bilosyuk will start at the IBU Cup
The composition has become known Ukrainian women’s team to the first stage World Cup 2023/24 biathlon in Ostersund, Sweden.
The Ukrainian team will be represented by six biathletes: Daria Blashko, Anastasia Merkushina, Irina Petrenko, Kristina Dmitrenko, Anna Krivonos and Lyubov Kipyachenkova. Earlier it was reported that Yulia Jima, who is recovering from an injury and is preparing to start the second stage in Hochfilzen, Austria, will not perform in Östersund.
The composition of the team for the first stage has also become known. IBU Cup. Elena Bilosyuk, Ksenia Prikhodko, Alexandra Merkushina, Elena Gorodnaya and Yulia Gorodnaya will perform at the competition in Kontiolahti.
Earlier, the composition of the Ukrainian men’s team for the starting stage became known. Anton Dudchenko, Artem Prima, Bogdan Tsymbal, Denis Nasyko, Taras Lesyuk and Artem Tishchenko will perform in Östersund. Out of the lineup is Dmitry Pidruchny, who continues to recover from an injury.
The 2023/24 Biathlon World Cup starts in Ostersund, Sweden on November 25. On the first day of the competition there will be a mixed and single mixed relay.
