The first team from the Sverdlovsk region won the mixed relay at the Alfa-Bank Russian Biathlon Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk.
The team included Tamara Derbusheva , Irina Kazakevich , Vasily Tomshin And Kirill Bajine . The final winners’ time was 1 hour 15 minutes 34.9 seconds. Kazakevich performed a penalty loop and in total the biathletes used nine additional laps.
At the end of the race, Bazhin won the fight against Pavel Belko from the Belarusian team. Anna Sola, Irina Leshchenko and Nikita Lobastov also competed for the neighboring country’s team. The top 3 was completed by the first team of the Novosibirsk region (Evgenia Burtasova, Anastasia Grishina, Daniil Serohvostov, Roman Eremin).
A day earlier, Derbusheva and Bazhin became the winners of the mixed singles.
