The number of ISU delegates infected with covid at the congress has become known

According to , more than 20 International Skating Union (ISU) Congress delegates have fallen ill with the coronavirus after returning from Phuket.

Earlier, reported that there was an outbreak of covid in the ISU at the end of the congress. In addition to the 20 delegates, employees of the union office in Lausanne were among those infected, including the personal assistant of former ISU President Jan Dijkema Jennecke Bogerd.

Representatives of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) Alexander Gorshkov, Alexander Kogan and Sergey Sviridov, as well as representatives of the Russian Skating Union (SCR) Ksenia Shantseva, Mikhail Sokolov and Andrey Nefedov, spoke from the Russia at the congress, Alexander Kibalko, elected to the ISU Council, participated in the meetings as head of the ISU technical committee. The ISU Congress in Phuket was held June 6-10.
