Biathlete Daniel Serokhvostov told that the illness he suffered in November had affected his well-being ahead of the Russian Cup stage in Khanty-Mansiysk.
Previously, Serokhvostov did not participate in the first Cup of the International Club Biathlon League (MLCB), which was held on November 18-19. On Friday, the biathlete will start the 10 km sprint of the second stage of the Alfa-Bank Russian Cup.
— Are you very upset that you didn’t play here at the MLKB Cup due to illness?
— I was more upset by the illness than by the lack of performance. There were no signs of a problem and I got sick at the wrong time. And the illness adapted before the first starts, so I am not in condition for these competitions.
— What are your goals for the season?
— Enter the top 6 at least once. These are the goals at the moment,” Serokhvostov told .
