Belarusian biathlete Anton Smolski on called Edward Latypov the most serious rival among the Russians this season.
On Sunday, 29-year-old Latypov won the mass start of the second stage of the Alfa-Bank Russian Cup, which takes place in Khanty-Mansiysk, after making three mistakes. Smolsky (+12.8) is second with two misses, the leading trio is completed by Kirill Bazhin (+20.4; 4 misses).
