Norwegians took the first four places in the race
Norwegian biathlete Johannes Be won the pursuit race in the second stage World Cup 2023/24 in Austrian Hochfilzen.
Last season’s Grand Crystal Globe winner started the race in 11th place. During the shooting, Johannes made only one mistake and ended up 22 seconds ahead of his compatriot Johannes Dahle. Note that the first four places went to the Norwegians, followed by Tarjei Be and Sturla Lægreid.
The best among Ukrainians was Dmitry Pidruchny. The leader of the Ukrainian men’s team was 52nd in the sprint, but made a big leap in the pursuit. Pidruchny made two penalties and finished 19th. Another Ukrainian Anton Dudchenkotook 49th place.
The women’s pursuit race will take place on Saturday at the World Cup in Hochfilzen. Starts at 15:45.
