American skier Jessica Diggins won the 10 km time trial at the third stage of the World Cup in Östersund.
The Olympic champion covered the distance in 27 minutes 5.6 seconds. The second in the final protocol was the Norwegian Heidi Weng (+23.0), the leading trio is completed by the German Victoria Karl.
In a similar discipline for the same distance for men, all places in the top 5 were occupied by Norwegian skiers. Victory won Harald Amundsen , showing a time of 23 minutes 36.1 seconds. The second was Simon Kruger (+8.1), third place goes to Didrik Tenseth (+14.3). Five-time Olympic champion Johannes Klebo came seventh (+43.9).
Russian athletes are not allowed to compete under the auspices of the FIS due to the situation in Ukraine.
