Norway won the women’s relay in Hochfilzen, Ukraine finished tenth

Sweden and France also won medals

Women’s team Norway won the relay in the second stage World Cup 2023/24 biathlon in Austria Hochfilzen.

The biathletes of the northern country repeated the achievement of the men’s team, which previously won gold in a similar discipline.

The Norwegians won confidently with a score of 1:07.39. France, which finished second, was more than half a minute behind the winner. The French bronze medalist was just over a minute behind the leader.

Team Ukraine as part of Anastasia Merkushina, Julia Jima, Irina Petrenko And Christina Dmitrenko took tenth place.

The greatest progress was shown by Petrenko, who managed to raise the team from 11th place to ninth. As a result, we were unable to maintain our position, but our compatriots still finished in the top 10.
