Later, biathlete Zhanna Maksimovich told that the staff of the stadium hotel where the participants lived resolved the problems in the room.
– Today’s athletes, not only biathletes, but in general, have become too picky. They traveled through Western countries, visited other conditions and saw what could be done there. Of course there are problems, but I don’t think it’s necessary to talk about them publicly. No one knows what the real difficulties of this hotel or the region itself are. There is no need to display everything in black again,” Vasiliev told RT.
He said the athletes should have spoken to hotel staff before filming the video.

Maybe it was just worth contacting the service staff and asking them to clean the room.
