On Tuesday, several videos appeared on the GERGONOSKUDISKA Telegram channel, hosted in particular by Russian national team biathletes Natalya Gerbulova and Ekaterina Noskova, in which athletes complain about living conditions in a local hotel. Executive Director of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Alexander Pak told on Wednesday that the organization was working on the issue of relocating athletes dissatisfied with living conditions in the Ufa stadium hotel .
– We moved! And yes, guys, let’s put everything in a positive way. The competition is coming soon, it will take place, soon we will all be racing in the Commonwealth Cup. I myself am very worried about this situation; I don’t like negativity, like we all do. I hope for your support and understanding,” Gerbulova said in a video on the Telegram channel.
The second stage of the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Cup will begin on Friday, December 15.
