The second stage of the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Biathlon Cup begins in Ufa on Friday, December 15.
On the first day of the competition, a 7.5 km women’s sprint is planned, the race starts at 12:00 (Moscow time). Watch the live broadcast from 11:40 (Moscow time) on the channel.
A total of 53 biathletes from Russia and Belarus were included in the race start protocol. Russia will be represented by members of the Russian national team Ekaterina Noskova, Natalya Gerbulova, Elizaveta Kaplina, Tamara Derbusheva and the winner of the sprint race of the first stage Irina Kazakevich.
In the sprint race in Sochi, Kazakevich showed a result of 22 minutes 26.1 seconds, making 3 errors. The second result was shown by Victoria Slivko (+4.8 seconds; no errors), the top three was closed by Natalia Shevchenko (+30.5; 1).
Also on Friday there will be a men’s sprint race, which will start at 09:00 (Moscow time).
