The top 3 included teams from Germany and Italy
Team Ukraine won first place on classic mixed relay in Italian Ridnow-val-Ridan on IBU Junior Cup.
The blue-and-yellows did not allow any penalty loops, used only seven rounds and triumphed with a score of 1:09:58.2. The Ukrainian team included Stepan Kinash, Vladislav Chikhar, Alexandra Merkushina and Elena Gorodnaya.
Let us note that this triumph was the first in history for Ukraine in this discipline at the IBU Junior Cup. The top 3 of the race also included teams from Germany and Italy.
The third stage of the 2023/24 World Cup is currently taking place in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. Yesterday, four Ukrainians entered the top 30 in the women’s sprint.
The men’s sprint will take place today in Lenzerheide. Pursuit races will take place on Saturday, December 16, and mass starts on Sunday (December 17).
