Doll won the sprint in Lenzerheide, Pidruchny – 22nd

Four representatives of Germany are in the top 6

Representative of Germany Benedict Doll became the winner of the men’s sprint race at the third stage Biathlon World Cup 2023/24which takes place in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.

Doll made no mistakes on the shooting range and finished with a score of 23:15.8. The German was 5.4 seconds ahead of the Norwegian Johannes Thingnes Boe (1 penalty).

Third place was taken by another biathlete from Germany, Philipp Navrat. The fourth position was shared by the Norwegian Sturla Lægreid and the German Philipp Horn.

The best result among Ukrainian biathletes is 22nd place by Dmitry Pidruchny. Artem Prima (44th position) and Taras Lesyuk (45th position) also qualified for the pursuit race.

Two more representatives of Ukraine were outside the top 60: Artem Tishchenko became 63rd, Anton Dudchenko – 78th.

On Saturday, December 16, the men’s and women’s pursuit races will take place in Lenzerheide, with mass starts on Sunday.
