The 12.5 km race will take place on Saturday from 09:00 (Moscow time).
Participants included Edward Latypov as well as Karim Khalili, Alexander Povarnitsyn, Maxim Tsvetkov, Daniil Serohvostov, Vasily Tomshin, Anton Babikov, Kirill Bazhin, Alexander Loginov, Evgeny Garanichev, Anton Smolsky and others.
On December 15, Latypov won gold in the sprint race at the second stage of the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Cup in Ufa. The biathlete showed a result of 23 minutes 54.5 seconds without a miss on two shooting ranges. Serokhvostov took second place (1 miss, lag – 17.5 seconds), Bazhin took third place (1 miss, +1 minute 5.6 seconds).
Also on Saturday there will be a women’s pursuit race, which will start at 12:00 (Moscow time).
