A Canadian skier was injured in a fall during the World Cup in France.

Canadian alpine skier Stephanie Fleckenstein was injured following a fall downhill during the World Cup in Val d’Isère (France).

Fleckenstein completed all the difficult sections of the course, but was unable to stay standing a few meters from the finish line. At the time of the fall, the 26-year-old athlete’s speed exceeded 100 km/h. Her skis did not come off, the skier remained lying on the ground and screamed loudly in pain.
