French biathlete Justine Brezat-Boucher won the pursuit race in the third stage Biathlon World Cup 2023/24which takes place in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.
Breza-Boucher made three penalties and was 25 seconds ahead of another Frenchwoman, Julie Simon, at the finish line. Justine scored a golden double – she had previously won the sprint in Lenzerheide. Third place went to Marit Ishol Skogan from Norway.
The best among Ukrainians was Anastasia Merkushinawhich took tenth place one minute and 49 seconds behind the winner. Irina Petrenko finished 12th, Julia Jima took 18th place, Kristina Dmitrenko — 29th.
The men’s pursuit race will also take place on Saturday at the World Cup. Starts at 15:40.
