Johannes Boe won the mass start in Lenzerheide, Pidruchny finished 26th

The Norwegians occupied the entire pedestal

Norwegian biathlete Johannes Be won the men’s mass start race in the third stage World Cup 2023/24 in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.

Two more representatives from Norway, Johannes Dahle and Tarjei Boe, won a silver and a bronze medal. They were significantly behind the winner – by 14.6 and 21.8 seconds, respectively.

The only representative of Ukraine in the mass start was Dmitry Pidruchny. He showed a good pace in the first half of the distance, but did not avoid penalty loops during the shooting, and ultimately finished with 26th place.

Let us remind you that in the women’s mass start in Lenzerheide, the Frenchwoman Justine Breza-Boucher triumphed, and all four Ukrainians finished in the top 30. The best of them, Yulia Jima, showed 19th result.

The season is taking a short break until 2024. The fourth stage of the World Cup will be held in Oberhof, Germany, from January 4 to 7.
