“There are things left unsaid.” Biathlete Derbusheva admitted that she was considering retiring from her career

Biathlete Tamara Derbusheva admitted that last year she could have ended her professional career.

“It’s not at all my place to do something if I don’t enjoy the process.” Last year I really thought, for a number of purely personal reasons, that I was going to end up with this sport. But then I realized that I just wasn’t running everywhere. There is still a euphemism,” Derbusheva said, as quoted by RT.

The athlete also spoke about his biggest failure.

“It is after time that you can evaluate your actions, your results, the way in which you have changed. The same Ira Kazakevich, with whom we have communicated for a very long time, believes that over the past two years I have changed a lot. She became more decisive, more open.

Biggest failure? The entire Olympic season. We had selections and control training. I fell at the start of the test and my butt broke. Nevertheless, I managed to make it to the IBU Cup in Norway, where I fell ill with Covid. And because of that, it was not possible to compete in just one race,” added the biathlete.
