Stepan Kinash and Dmitry Grushchak took places on the podium
Ruslan Tkalenko won a gold medal in the pursuit race Ukrainian Biathlon Championship 2023.
Tkalenko started from fourth position, which he achieved as a result of the sprint. Ruslan made three mistakes and was 44 seconds ahead Stepan Kinash, which won a silver award. Bronze went to Dmitry Grushchak.
Note that a number of biathletes who took high places in the sprint did not take part in the race. Anton Dudchenko, Taras Lesyuk, Vladislav Chikhar and several other athletes missed the race.
On Saturday, the women’s pursuit race will take place at the Ukrainian Championships, which takes place in Yavorov. The competition will end on Sunday with a single mixed relay.
