Medalist at the World Short Track Speed Skating Championships Ekaterina Aldoshkina won the 3000 m distance at the Russian Speed Skating Championships at individual distances, which is held in Irkutsk.
Aldoshkina showed a result of 4 minutes 12.68 seconds. Ekaterina Kosheleva finished second (4:14.75), third Anastasia Grigorieva (4.16,12).
Aldoshkina’s second season combines performances in short track speed skating and speed skating. This long track title is the first of his career at the Russian championships.
The best result in 3000 m in these competitions was achieved by Belarusian athlete Marina Zueva – 4:12.38.
