Skater Murashov talks about the problem with suits: “I’m not switching to national suits yet”

World speed skating champion Ruslan Murashov said he is not yet switching to domestic suits because they still require a lot of work.

Earlier, world record holder Pavel Kulizhnikov was left without a medal at the Russian Championship in Irkutsk due to a faulty zipper on his suit. Murashov won two distances at these competitions.

— Do you have a problem with the overalls?

— I have a new one, domestic, but for now I’m using what we were given two years ago. I’m afraid to move on to domestically produced suits for now – it seems to me that there is still a lot of work to be done on them. There is a company that makes wetsuits, they always communicate with us and are interested in your feedback. This is how it should be, it’s the only way to make really good gear. And broken zippers before the race are sad and bad. Losing the Russian championship because your suit is torn is an ambush,” Murashov told .
