Coaching staff Ukrainian women’s biathlon team decided on the sixth athlete who will go as part of the team to the fourth stage World Cup 2023/24 V Oberhof.
Apply for the vacant position Elena Gorodnaya and Alexandra Merkushina. Following the results of the Ukrainian Championship, the coaching staff made a choice in favor of the 19-year-old Gorodnaya. Elena has already competed at the World Cup this season. At the second stage in Hochfilzen, the Ukrainian took 68th place in the sprint.

Alexandra Merkushina will be part of the Ukrainian national team for the IBU Cup stage in Martell-Val-Martello. Anna Krivonos, Yulia Gorodnaya, Valeria Dmitrenko, Nadezhda Belkina, Liliya Steblina will also perform in Italy.
