Petrenko is a real traitor – Gutzeit

The Minister of Youth and Sports brutally walked the former Olympic champion for participation in a show in Russia.

Vadim Gutzeit was surprised by what ex-Olympic figure skating champion Viktor Petrenko did. According to the Minister of Youth and Sports, the former athlete acted like a real traitor by participating in an ice show in Russia.

The functionary also said it was a planned action, because a few days before that, Petrenko had written a letter of resignation from the Ukrainian Figure Skating Federation.

“I found out about it from the media. I was so shocked, only a blind person can’t see what’s going on in our country, how our men are dying … it’s a shock for me. For a real one that Ukrainian to do it, it’s impossible.I immediately called the figure skating federation, a few days ago he had a letter saying he was leaving the organization.

The Olympic champion, from Odessa, a citizen of Ukraine, is like this, for me he is a real traitor. To me, this is completely incomprehensible. The man who raised the Ukrainian flag … I have nothing to say. Previously, no pro-Russian views were noticed behind him. He helped to hold competitions in Ukraine, in Odessa the competitions were held in his honor.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports wrote a letter to the president’s office asking him to remove Petrenko of the presidential scholarship he receives as an Olympic champion. He, I am sure, will be removed. Everyone already understands what kind of person he is, ”Gutzeit said in an interview with Kyiv TV channel.

Recall that Olympic figure skating champion Viktor Petrenko took part in the Scarlet Flower ice show, presented by Tatiana Navka, wife of the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, in Sochi.
