-Are you a happy person?
– Not really. Apparently, he set such ambitious goals for himself that to achieve them you need to make more effort than now. When I stopped, I thought I would be with my family more, that I would see my parents and my grandparents more. But in reality, the opposite happened. The workload that my brother and I have taken on requires a lot of investment, including time. I work from morning to evening, we are moving towards our goals, but at the moment I cannot say that I am happy.
– But do you like what you decided to do?
– Absolutely. Why did I lose interest in biathlon? For my part, I did everything necessary to obtain a high result. For a while, it paid off. But I was very limited by my psycho-emotional state at different stages of preparation and competition, so my interest began to fade. I’ve lost the desire to do basic training and recovery things, and running in 10th or 20th place is no fun.
I love development in life! Now, for example, I go to boxing training – my head works differently because I perform complex coordination movements. It would seem that I have been playing sports all my life, but here it is again. Development is ongoing. This is exactly what I enjoyed about biathlon, and now I get it in my new life. I no longer saw any prospects for development for myself in biathlon, so I decided to take another path, ”Suchilov told .
