Former Russian national team biathlete Semyon Suchilov told that after finishing his sporting career, he went into business with his brother.
Suchilov, a two-time winner of the 2017 Universiade, ended his career in May this year.
— After finishing your career, you opened a clothing store. You do everything with your brother, don’t you?
– Yes, but we mainly have sneakers there. Today, sneaker culture is growing strongly. We try to bring cool models. I can say with confidence that there are no such people in Tyumen anymore. By the way, I’ll tell you a story about my little self: I imagined that when I grew up, I would have a big shelf that would cover the entire wall, and on each shelf there would be different sneakers. Really (laughs). And now it has come true. I had this thought when I was a child, but I didn’t visualize it. For example, I rather want a Porsche 911 (laughs), but for the moment it’s just a wish. I hope I will attract him to me, because now I am reading a very interesting book “Reality Transurfing”. Besides, during training sessions that lasted three hours or more, I always listened to audio books on psychology, nutrition or development. I did a lot for the result.

– Yes yes. My brother and I started building rental homes. It’s a very heavy responsibility: building a house is not the same as selling a pair of sneakers. But I really like this job, it gives me a lot of energy, and I have loved construction itself since childhood. Before launching into professional biathlon, I entered the École Polytechnique in the field of “Construction and operation of buildings and structures”.
