Pidruchny and Petrenko will be the first Ukrainians to run the sprint race in Oberhof

Both races will take place on the afternoon of January 5th

The starting numbers of Ukrainian biathletes and biathletes in sprint races at the fourth stage World Cup 2023/24 in German Oberhof.

Let us remind you that initially these races were planned to be held on different days, but due to weather conditions the men’s sprint was moved a day ahead. It, like the women’s one, will take place on Friday, January 5th.

The earliest starting number among the five of our compatriots received Dmitry Pidruchny (No. 5). Follow him to the track Anton Dudchenko (No. 6). Will run in the second starting group Vitaly Mandzyn (No. 48), in the third Artem Prima (No. 77), in the fourth – Artem Tishchenko (No. 89).

The men’s sprint starts in Oberhof at 12:20 Kyiv time.

In the women’s sprint race, she will be the first among her compatriots to complete the distance Irina Petrenko (No. 15). Also included in the first starting group Julia Jima (No. 31). The following groups will start Anastasia Merkushina (No. 41), Kristina Dmitrenko (No. 59) and Lyubov Kipyachenkova (No. 89).

The start of the women’s sprint is scheduled for 15:25.

The fourth stage of the World Cup will be held in Oberhof, Germany, from January 5 to 7, 2024. Two pursuit races are scheduled for Saturday. The men’s and women’s classic relays will take place on Sunday.
