Russian biathlete Valeria Kayumova won the sprint race at the third stage of the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Cup in Raubichi (Belarus).
Kayumova, 26, who previously competed under the name Vasnetsov, posted a result of 22 minutes 18.1 seconds with a miss on two shooting ranges. The second was Tamara Derbusheva (no misses, lag – 4.6 seconds), completes the leading trio Anastasia Goreeva (1 miss, +9.9 seconds).
The best of the Belarusian athletes was Anna Sola, who finished 16th (4 penalties, 1 minute 14.4 seconds back).
