Athletistic/Short track. The Russian Skating Union announced the tragic loss of Russian speed skater Anastasia Sereda.
“The skater’s family is experiencing a deep loss – we have lost Anastasia Sereda. We express our sincere condolences to Anastasia’s family and friends. May this bright memory remain with us,” reads a message on the website organisation.
Anastasia Sereda represented the city of St. Petersburg in the main competition and the Republic of Mordovia in the parallel competition.
