Ukrainian men’s team announced seven biathletes for the fifth stage World Cup 2023/24 in German Ruhpolding. Note that the quota for blue-yellow in individual races is five athletes.

Five biathletes who competed at the previous stage in Oberhof will go to Ruhpolding: Dmitry Pidruchny, Artem Prima, Anton Dudchenko, Vitaly Mandzyn And Artem Tishchenko. They were joined Denis Nasyko And Taras Lesyukwho spent their last starts at the IBU Cup.

Note that the women’s team also entered seven biathletes for the stage in Ruhpolding. Nadezhda Belkina joined the six athletes who competed in Oberhof. Earlier, the senior coach of the Ukrainian women’s biathlon team, Nikolai Zots, said that Irina Petrenko, Anastasia Merkushina and Kristina Dmitrenko would not participate in individual races and would go to a mountain training camp immediately after the relay.

The fifth stage of the 2023/24 KM biathlon in Ruhpolding will take place from January 10 to 14. The men will begin the competition with a relay on January 11, and will later run the sprint and pursuit race.
