World speed skating record holder Pavel Kulizhnikov and Russian champion Nikita Bazyuk will miss the Russian Cup stage in Chelyabinsk, the head coach of the Russian national team told Dmitry Dorofeev .
The competition will take place from January 15 to 17 at the Ural Lightning Ice Palace.
“In the sprint group, only Kulizhnikov and Bazyuk will miss this start,” Dorofeev told .
The coach of the stayer group of the Russian national team, Viktor Sivkov, said that his team would fully participate in the competition in Chelyabinsk.
Olympic bronze medalist Angelina Golikova will also take part in the next stage of the Russian Cup.
