Four Ukrainian women will run the sprint at the World Cup in Ruhpolding

Petrenko, Merkushina and Dmitrenko have already left for Antholz

The starting numbers of Ukrainian biathletes have become known sprint race at the fifth stage World Cup 2023/24 in Ruhpolding, Germany.

Will be the first among Ukrainians to start Julia Jima – No. 8. Lyubov Kipyachenkova starts on the 51st, Elena Gorodnaya – 57th. Nadezhda Belkina, for which the upcoming race will be the first of the current season at the World Cup, received No. 84. Full sprint start list – Here.

Let us note that Ukraine will perform in the women’s sprint in a truncated composition. Immediately after the relay, Irina Petrenko, Anastasia Merkushina and Kristina Dmitrenko went to Antholz, where they will prepare for the European Championships.

The women’s sprint in Ruhpolding will take place on Friday, January 12th. Starts at 15:30 Kyiv time.

Classic relay races took place in Ruhpolding. In the women’s race, the Ukrainians showed their best result of the season – 5th place. In the men’s race, Ukraine finished 18th.
