The race took place on Friday. Pashchenko played as a member of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug team. His partners were Burundukov, Dmitry Ivanov and Alexey Vagin.
The first Belarusian team won the team race. The first team from Tyumen took second place. The second team from Belarus crossed the finish line in third position. Since Belarusians participated in competitions outside the general classification, the Tyumen team won gold at the Russian Championship. The KhMAO team will receive silver, and the Krasnoyarsk team will receive bronze.
— This is not a new format for us. These races already existed before my arrival in biathlon. The biathlon itself began with patrol races. Is the format important? I don’t know, we’ll see. It makes sense to do this.
In general, it worked well at range, but there were issues with the firing lines, which became a stumbling block. We had an equal composition, just like Tyumen. We stood out.
