Ukrainian athletes had an unsuccessful competition on Friday at the fifth stage of the World Cup.
The women’s sprint competition took place in Ruhpolding as part of the Biathlon World Cup. The winner of this race was Norwegian Ingrid Tandrevoll, nearly 20 seconds ahead of her closest rival, Swede Mona Broson. Italian Lisa Vitozzi rounded out the top three.
As for Ukrainian women, four Ukrainian women took part in the sprint, where Yulia Dzhima showed the best result. The athlete finished in thirteenth position, and Lyubov Kipyachenkova, Nadezhda Belkina and Elena Gorodnaya were not included in the top 60.
