Vitozzi won the pursuit in Ruhpolding, Jima took 15th place

Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold and Uni Arnekleive finished in the top three

Italian biathlete Lisa Vitozzi won the pursuit race on the fifth stage Biathlon World Cup 2023/24 in German Ruhpolding.

The Italian made one mistake in four shooting ranges. In a close fight at the finish line, Vitozzi was ahead of Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold from Norway, who had previously won the sprint. Another Norwegian, Uni Arnekleive, took third place.

The only representative of Ukraine in the pursuit race was Julia Jima. The Ukrainian completed the course without mistakes and took 15th place.

The fifth stage of the World Cup in Ruhpolding will end with the men’s pursuit, which starts at 15:45. Ukraine will be represented in it by Denis Nasyko, Taras Lesyuk, Vitaly Mandzyn and Artem Tishchenko.
