Norwegian Johannes Dahle-Sevdahl won the men’s pursuit race at the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Ruhpolding (Germany).
Dahle started from fifth place, committed two penalties in four shooting stages and clocked 30 minutes 38 seconds. The Norwegians also took second and third places. Vetle-Sjastad Christiansen (3 failures, lag – 1.7 seconds) and Johannes Boé (2 misses, +2.4 seconds). Christiansen had won the sprint the day before.
In the general classification, Johannes Boe (671 points) is in the lead, his brother Tarjei Boe is second (593), Dale-Sevdal (589) closes the top three.
The sixth stage of the World Cup will take place from January 18 to 21 in Antholz (Italy).
