Four Ukrainians took places from 37th to 52nd

Norwegian biathlete Johannes Dahle won the pursuit race on stage 5 Biathlon World Cup 2023/24 in German Ruhpolding.

Johannes, who made two mistakes at four points, in a tense struggle managed to get ahead of two compatriots – Vetle Christiansen (yesterday’s sprint winner) and Tarjei Boe.

The four Ukrainians who took part in this race took places from 37th to 52nd. Showed the best result Denis Nasyko, 2 minutes 38 seconds behind the leader. Finished with only one penalty in the passive position in 43rd position. Artem Tishchenko. Taras Lesyuk finished the race in 49th place, Vitaly Mandzyn became 52nd.

Let us remind you that earlier in the women’s pursuit race, the only representative of Ukraine, Yulia Dzhima, showed 15th result.

This concludes the fifth stage of the 2023/24 World Cup. The next one will take place in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, from January 18 to 21.
