Viktor Plitsev became the winner of the prologue in the shooting duel format before the start of the fourth stage of the Alfa-Bank Russian Biathlon Cup in Izhevsk.
In the decisive match, Plitsev from the “One Right” team, having made a prone mistake, defeated world champion Alexander Loginov (“Kings of the Quiet Hour”). The small final was won by Vasily Tomshin (“Chuck-Chuck Norris”).
Earlier, Natalya Gerbulova won the women’s competition.
The prologue is a pre-start competition organized by the SBR before the main competition program of the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Cup, Championship and Cup of Russia. The biathletes compete in four teams. At each individual stage, the winners of the competition receive 50, 40 and 30 thousand rubles and points for ranking, respectively. The winning team will receive 1 million rubles at the end of the season.
