Swiss Hecky-Gros won the short individual race, Merkushina took 13th place

Three Ukrainians entered the top 20

Three Ukrainians took places in the top 20 short individual race at the sixth stage World Cup 2023/24 biathlon in Italian Antholz.

The best among Ukrainian athletes Anastasia Merkushina showed the 13th result. The biathlete made one mistake on the lines. Finished with two penalty minutes Julia Jima (17th place) and Irina Petrenko (18th). Kristina Dmitrenko took 32nd position, Anna Krivonos became 76th.

Won the individual race Lena Hekki-Gros from Switzerland. Behind her were two French women – Julia Simon and Lou Jeanmono.

Competitions at the sixth stage of the World Cup will continue on Saturday with relay races. The single mixed relay will start at 13:55, the mixed relay will start at 15:45.
