Germany wins singles mixed doubles in Antholz, Ukraine is tenth

Norway and Austria also took places on the podium

Team Germany won single mixed relay at the sixth stage Biathlon World Cup 2023/24 in Italian Antholz.

The Germans were represented by Vanessa Voigt and Justus Strehlow. They completed the course without penalty laps and used only one extra round. The top three winners included the teams of Norway and Austria.

Ukraine, for which they spoke Artem Tishchenko And Kristina Dmitrenko, took tenth place, repeating the result of the first similar race of the season in Ostersund, Sweden. The Ukrainians completed the course without penalty loops, used 6 additional rounds, but showed only the 13th result at the distance. As a result, Artem and Kristina were 1 minute and 9.9 seconds behind the leaders.

The competition in Antholz will continue with a mixed relay. In it, Anastasia Merkushina, Yulia Dzhima, Denis Nasyko and Dmitry Pidruchny will run from Ukraine. The race starts at 15:45.
